In October 2000 a privately financed closed Joint Stock Company with share capital of appx. 5 mio EUR named Voljatel d.d. was established in order to seize the opportunity offered by liberalization of the telecommunication market in Slovenia.
Its innovative approach has shown the results soon, as it became the first provider of “pay as you go” dial-up service in Slovenia uder the brand “VOLJA”. In 2005 company's firm presence at the market was acknowledged with the status of the first operator in SLO launching IP telephony services and in 2005 as the first alternative operator in SLO offering ADSL 2+ technology and advanced VDSL2.
Due to ownership changes in 2007 VOLJATEL d.d. changed its name to TUŠ TELEKOM d.d. and started with the brand “TUŠ TELEKOM” and at the end of 2007 TUŠ TELEKOM d.d. joined forces with Tušmobil d.o.o. to round the portfolio with mobile services as well.
In 2009 companies merged and today TUŠMOBIL d.o.o., as a legal succesor, constitutes an Information and communication technology pillar of TUŠ Group, which offers a solid customer base and a wide specter of integrated services (telecommunication, oil company, retail market chain, cinema and entertainment, energy, etc)

Today TUŠMOBIL d.d. is one of the leading telecommunication operators in Slovenia and it operates as well in Croatia and throughout the Adratic region. Tušmobil offers a full portfolio of telecommunication services for residential and business users and is a fully reliable, professional and efficient local partner for international carriers.
